Flims/Laax – European Snowboard Open
I may be a skier, but I’m not averse to promoting snowboarding too – and this weekend sees possibly one of the biggest events in Europe for the sport.
It caters for all categories of riders, amateur to pro, and lasts all week, starting Friday 11 Jan.
And of course, there will be wild parties and live music, centring on the Riders Palace Hotel.
The snowboarding takes place at Crap Sogn Gion (and that’s not a rude word in Romantsch btw) and is free to watch. You’ll have to buy a lift pass to get up there though, so probably best to say there is no extra cost to watch it!
