It was built by a wealthy Swiss banker. In the 60s I used to be a member of an orchestra that gave regular concerts on the Schloss forecourt. Then it used to house the Swiss Army museum which is now the gastronomy museum I believe. We are visiting Thun in September this year. Nice photos and story by the way.

I know the Schloss Schadau very well. It was built by a wealthy Swiss banker.
