Home Comforts
This might not be of much interest to those of you planning a trip to Switzerland, but it might be a lifesaver for those of you that already live here.
When we arrived nearly 20 years ago, it was impossible to find those important items that you need when you’re ill, or planning a cultural night. Heinz Baked Beans, Birds Custard etc.
But now, the internet is solving those problems, and you can get a lot of UK products with minimal hassle.
Try britshop.ch who have a great selection, and even Migros are getting in on the act, selling Youngs and Wells beer, amongst other things. Their shop is at LeShop.
For those of you looking to find products from the USA try tasteofamerica.
If you live outside of Switzerland, and are either desperate, curious to try British cuisine, or both; Britsuperstore may be able to help.
So wherever you are, Cadbury’s chocolate, PG Tips and HP sauce need no longer be absent from your pantry.

“Cadbury’s chocolate, PG Tips and HP sauce need no longer be absent from your pantry.”
An absolutely classic quote.
It sounds just like my nanna’s dark deep pantry, where I spent many hours. I didn’t want to, but that’s where she liked to keep us. Freezing, it was.
Hi Richard,
I thought I was supposed to write the witty stuff!
